When:  September 22nd, 2008—Golf Registration begins at 10:30am, with lunch at 11:00am and tee-off at 12:30pm.  Cocktail Reception begins at 5:30pm.

Where:  The newly renovated St. Clair Country Club, Upper St. Clair, PA

Cost:  $1,000 for a foursome, $275 for a single golfer, $75 for reception attendance only and $300 to sponsor a hole

The 25th Anniversary Celebration was a great success!  The celebration was very well-attended, despite the holiday weekend and the beginning of the Stanley Cup Finals!  We had over 730 people registered for the event.

On Thursday, June 5th, 2008, the 55 members of Leadership Pittsburgh XXIV celebrated their graduation—honoring the 10 months of their LP experience with a day dedicated to reflecting, committing and celebrating!  The day offered the new graduates time to share the findings of their Regional Exploration Experiences to counties outside of Allegheny, opportunities to make leadership commitments to our community through a facilitated conversation with Kate Dewey, LP VIII, Principal, Dewey & Kaye Nonprofit Consultants and an evening to celebrate with friends, family and sponsors.  LP XXIV selected two commencement speakers from their class:  Christopher Sweeney, President and CEO, 3 Rivers Connect and Bomani Howze, Program Officer, The Heinz Endowments.  Both graduates delivered insightful and heartfelt comments regarding leadership, life and being a part of LP XXIV.

On June 12, 2008, LDI XV members presented their Community Impact Projects, which involved implementing projects for nonprofit organizations in our community.  In addition to meeting a need in the community, the projects provide significant learning experiences for LDI participants.  After the project presentations, the graduation ceremony was held and the LDI XV became the newest members of the Leadership Pittsburgh Inc. family of over 1,400 graduates!  Family, friends and sponsors joined in the celebration.  Congratulations to LDI XV!
