Come and experience POP UP PITTSBURGH! "Uptown on the Move" (hosted by the current Leadership Development Initiative XVI class) on May 30th, 2009. POP UP PITTSBURGH is a one day event highlighting the Uptown Neighborhood of Pittsburgh through a traveling progressive block party that engages and positively impacts the community and encourages residents from throughout the region to experience and appreciate Uptown's assets and potential.

When: May 30th, 2009 from 1 to 5pm.
Where: The Uptown superblock bounded by Gist, Miltenburger, Locust Fifth near UPMC Mercy

Leadership Pittsburgh XXV Overnight Regional Policy Trip to Harrisburg

On Monday and Tuesday, May 4th and 5th, the 60 members of Leadership Pittsburgh XXV traveled to Harrisburg for their Regional Policy Trip, the capstone experience to the LP program year. The Regional Policy Trip provided the class with opportunities to focus on important issues facing our region and meet with key State Senators and Representatives in small and large group settings to discuss those issues.
