Pittsburgh XXVI Government & Public Policy Session
On Thursday,
October 29th, LP XXVI participated in their Government
and Public Policy Session. The session provided the
class with opportunities to increase their awareness of
governmental structures and significant public policy
debates/decisions in our region and to consider their
relationship with government and public policy formation
as senior leaders in Southwestern Pennsylvania.

Development Initiative XVII Neighborhood Development
Session
The November 12th LDI XVII Neighborhood Development session focused on star teamwork and kicked off the 2010 LDI Community Impact Project (CIP): POP UP PITTSBURGH!. This year the LDI Class will be working with the Hilltop community to deliver the POP UP PITTSBURGH! experience. Key Hilltop stakeholders joined the LDI class for a discussion to introduce the LDI class to the Hilltop neighborhood. The LDI XVII class was also joined by graduates of LDI XVI to discuss some of the lessons learned from last year's POP UP PITTSBURGH! experience: Uptown on the Move! representatives of Leadership OnBoard XI met at
Mullaney's Harp & Fiddle to mingle, enjoy some Irish

Vice President, Claude Worthington Benedum Foundation on
his advice for leading on a board and ideas to keep in
mind as the LOB participants embark on their one-year
