This year's Off the Record theme is "High School Confidential!" Exploring the antics and drama within a mythological Pittsburgh high school. Look for scenes and songs describing asbestos troubles, rivalries among student cliques, sex education debates and more, all overseen by Mark Roosevelt as school principal. A student council election will show what it would be like to have Luke Ravenstahl, Ben Roethlisberger and Lynn Cullen running against one another for the presidency. In the classroom, we'll portray Ed Rendell using the budget crisis to teach math and Cyril Wecht giving insights into dissection in biology class. And, of course, there will be the big challenge of presenting a top-notch high school musical production.

SponsorChange Opportunity for Volunteering & Receiving
Graduates of 4-year universities rack up an average of $20,000 in student loan debt. As a result, individuals in their twenties are the least likely to volunteer. The SponsorChange Fellowship is a comprehensive program that addresses this challenge. By serving as volunteer managers for local non profits with limited capacity, young professionals and graduate students receive student loan stipends while they explore social issues more deeply through civic education. Apply at www.sponsorchange.org.
