The session provided class members with lenses through which to identify and examine challenges facing neighborhood redevelopment in Pittsburgh. Lenny Chan, LDI XVI, Coordinator of Student Development and Housefellow, Carnegie Mellon University, was matched with CONTACT Pittsburgh for the Leadership OnBoard (LOB) 2009-2010 program year. After serving for a few months on the CONTACT Pittsburgh board in the LOB guest capacity, Lenny was asked to serve as a full voting board member. Based on the wonderful experience Lenny had during his LOB term, he enthusiastically accepted. Lenny had this to say, "My LOB experience has allowed me to be engaged in many different aspects of the CONTACT Pittsburgh board. This comprehensive view of the organization will allow me to be more effective as I transition into my new role as a board member."
