Pittsburgh XXVI Leadership Challenge Session
On Thursday, December 10, 2009, LP XXVI participated in a new session utilizing a dynamic group simulation that offered participants a focused experience with governing a society. The experience provided the class with intense opportunities to consider and reflect upon leadership decision making, with implications for the regional issues and challenges they are examining throughout the LP curriculum.

The
LPInc. Board recently approved a 3 year strategic plan.
Graduate activities will be a focus. To help lead these efforts,
LPInc. team member, Danielle Tyson, was recently
promoted to Graduate and External Affairs Manager.
Ms. Tyson is excited to begin work in her new role and to
help enhance our Graduate Engagement efforts per the
strategic plan.

Leadership
Pittsburgh Inc. and the Katz Graduate School of Business
recently launched a new partnership designed to provide MBA
students with the breadth of knowledge and exposure required
to understand the complexity of leadership within the broad
context of business within society through an intensive
hands-on learning experience. This program, called the Katz
Leadership Fellows Program, will take place from January to
April, during which time six students (in pairs) will
participate on the boards of Leadership Pittsburgh Inc.,
Pittsburgh Partnership for Neighborhood Development and The
Children's
Museum. The students will work closely with the board of
directors for each organization and complete a project to be
presented at the end of the program.
