Floyd Cephas

Congratulations to Floyd A. Cephas, LP XVI, Executive Director, North Side Christian Health Center. The center received the Bronze Fine Foundation Award for Teamwork Excellence in Health Care for Achieving NCQA Level 3 Recognition as a Patient Centered Medical Home. In addition, The North Side Christian Health Center has received Silver LEED Designation for recent renovations.

The YWCA Greater Pittsburgh recently named Diane Richard, LP XXV, Public Information Officer/Spokesperson, Pittsburgh Bureau of Police, a 2011 Racial Justice Award recipient in the Public Safety category.

LPI Partners for Vision Pittsburgh: Charles Bunch of PPG to speak at first installment on March 7


Charles Bunch, the president and CEO of PPG, will be the first speaker for the newly created VisionPittsburgh program, a series of four exciting luncheons during 2012 guaranteed to inspire, enlighten and inform you about our region's most valuable commodity – the vision of our business leaders.

VisionPittsburgh 2012 is presented by the Pittsburgh Business Times and Sisterson and Co. LLP. The Allegheny Conference on Community Development and Leadership Pittsburgh are partners. Premier sponsors include Consolidated Communications, Meyer Unkovic & Scott and Junior Achievement of Western Pennsylvania.

VisionPittsburgh will be held quarterly at the Duquesne Club from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., and will include networking, lunch, the speaker and a Q&A session afterwards.

The Highmark Walk for a Healthy Community
 

The Highmark Walk for a Healthy Community brings together numerous local nonprofit organizations that deliver vital health and human services programs in our community. This year Auberle was lucky to have been chosen to participate. Fundraising events like these make the work that Auberle does to help troubled children and families heal themselves possible. You can do your part by signing up to walk, donating, or both!
