In the event of your acceptance into the program, this individual, along with the person listed in the Employer Agreement section above, will be extended an invitation to join you at the LDI Welcome Orientation at the beginning of the program year and at the LDI Commencement Reception at the end.

The Leadership Development Initiative Selection Committee considers letters of recommendation in the application process. We strongly encourage each applicant to submit at least two letters of recommendation. Successful applications in prior years tend to be accompanied by a letter of recommendation from applicant’s CEO/head of business unit in addition to recommendations from LPInc. alumni.
Recommendations are due in to the Leadership Pittsburgh Inc. office by 5:00 p.m. on the FIRST FRIDAY OF JUNE. These can be submitted along with your application or separately via the online form; by fax to 412.392.4559; e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org; or mail to our office.
LPInc. is a non-profit organization: Alumni and institutional donations enable us to offer partial scholarships based on need. These are intended, primarily, for participants from the non-profit sector, especially small non-profit organizations. Participants seeking assistance will be asked to complete a statement of financial need. To request tuition assistance, please call or email the Leadership Pittsburgh Inc. office to request a form (412.392.4505 | email@example.com). This form MUST be submitted by the application deadline. Tuition assistance requests do not impact the selection process.
